Health isn’t one straight path with a beginning and an end.
Rather, it’s a non-linear adventure of ups and downs, with different pillars that are all interconnected and essential stops on the journey.
I had a successful run in the international modelling scene. But the pressures took a toll, and one day my body just couldn't take it anymore. I ended up in a hospital, realising I had misunderstood health.
Much like the modelling industry, society has a skewed perspective on health both physically and mentally. We often see it in black and white, missing its complexities. This narrow view, riddled with misconceptions, is similar to the limitations I felt in my modelling days.
Building on my personal insights, robust research, and invaluable input from over 200 experts, I've shaped the 7 Pillars of Health, which looks at our body and mind together.
These pillars touch upon the CORE areas of health, focusing on prevention. They emphasise the close connection between our physical and mental well-being, nudging us to see health in its entirety, free from shame and stigma and free from a rigid health narrative so many tell.
Health is never one straight line - but it also doesn’t need to be so complicated. My mission to is empower you to find your story.
Nutrition
You can change your health within 24 hours by simply changing the food you consume.
Emotional Resilience
Your ability to tolerate discomfort is at the core of mental toughness, but how do we learn it?
Self Care
Self care looks different for everyone, but in reality it’s the practice of daily moments of self respect.
Sleep
Sleep is a foundational pillar of performance and health, and yet is increasingly depleted and overlooked.
Embracing Failure
Stress, unfortunately, is a normal part of everyday life. But how can you learn to embrace it, manage it better, and even make it work for you?
Human Connection
Authentic human connection - feeling seen and valued - has been found to increase long-term levels of personal happiness and even lengthen lifespans.
Mindful Movement
Moving your body isn’t just good for your physical health, but for maintaining your emotional and mental balance, too. We have interpreted ‘exercise’ in an elitist fashion but it doesn’t need to be that way. Simple movement has been now been proven to treat mental health illnesses like depression.
