Show Notes

The food we eat isn’t always the magic bullet, but if we don’t eat it correctly it can cause destructive effects. Signed at the age of 15 to a professional football contract, Thomas ‘Hal’ Robson-Kanu struggled with persistent injuries in the subsequent years. Robson-Kanu played in the premier league, and internationally for Wales. He battled with continuous injuries, while he watched other players his age progress. After two years of being in and out of hospital, battling serious injuries and hitting dead ends with the healing process, he and his father decided to tackle it themselves. As a nutritionist, I’m forever amazed by the lack of awareness and education around nutrition in the sporting world. Nutrition is one of the main foundations and pillars of performance.

In today’s episode: we explore just how far nutrition can go in its healing power.
