Show Notes

Almost half of British adults are not aware of  government guidelines and 1-6 adults in the UK have low levels of vitamin D.

Low levels of Vitamin D have been associated with low mood, a poor immune system, increased risk of respiratory infections, COVID-19 and also an increase in all cause mortality.

We've also heard on the other hand that too much vitamin D can cause toxicity - but how strong is the research here?

There is a lot of noise surrounding this vitamin -but what are the true health facts? How much should we be taking and what are our risks with taking too little?

In today'd episode I speak to immunologist Dr Jenna Macciochi,  who explains the latest research spanning this vitamin!
